Cluster Asset Accountant
- Maintain and update fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, and transfers.
- Calculate and record depreciation expenses for various asset categories.
- Reconcile fixed asset sub-ledgers with the general ledger on a monthly basis.
- Conduct periodic physical inventory counts of fixed assets.
- Prepare and analyze fixed asset reports for management and auditors.
- Assist in the development and implementation of asset management policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate asset tracking and valuation.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes related to fixed assets.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations affecting asset management.
- Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
